Guides and downloads

Offer a guide in exchange for an email address, and build a list of people who are actually interested.

Page section, filed under Lead capture & enquiries. For Financial services.

Live example. This is the real thing, running on this page exactly as it would on your site. We've switched off the download here, so nothing you type is kept.

Advice that starts with your situation, not a product

We look at the whole picture - what you earn, what you owe, what you want to be doing in ten years - and then recommend what fits. No jargon, and no product pitch before we understand the situation.

We'll use these details to give you the guide on this page and keep a note that you asked for it, and we won't add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to. Our privacy notice says how we handle them.

What it does

Most people who visit an adviser's website are not ready to book a meeting. They're reading. If the only thing on offer is "get in touch", you lose all of them.

A guide - a first-time buyer's guide, a note on what happens at retirement, a checklist for a remortgage - gives them a reason to leave an email address at the point they're most interested. Then you have a name instead of an anonymous visit.

How it works

Upload the guide, write a line about it, and place the block. Someone gives their email address, gets the file, and lands in your enquiry list marked with what they downloaded - so you know what they were reading about when you call.

Consent is asked for properly, so the list you build is one you're allowed to use.

You'll need

A guide worth downloading. If you haven't written one, we can help with that.
